TOP BRANDS IN MILAN FASHION WEEK FALL 2022 READY TO WEAR

After two years of pandemic Milan Fashion Week successfully scheduled the physical shows for fall ready to wear collections. After watching the Milan fashion week a/w 2022 show I figured the best looks from particular brands though all the brands did an absolute stunning work. Not to wait further and let’s take a look at these brands who did their show.

ETRO

When you see Etro it always comes up with dramatic patterns, prints and mixed textures. Their designs for the 2022-23 Autumn/Winter show were mostly loose, vertical silhouettes, jackets and coats were mostly oversized with beautiful print or solid. We also saw knitted dresses which were very comfortable. And the colour palette was earthy and neutral. The footwear was mostly about knee length boots, ankle boots and also some printed boots. Accessories were minimal, mostly there were some chunky belts, printed belts, shoulder bags and hats.

BLUMARINE

Blumarine has always done breathtaking shows. The concept for fall 2022 was more like bold, dark and sophisticated looks. Their looks for fall had leather material jackets, coats, pants and tops, fur jackets, body fit and draped dresses. The colour palette had bold black, red, pink and purple. Accessories were more of veiled faces, classy dark glasses and baguette bags.

PRADA

Prada showed up with elegant looks for the fall 2022 ready to wear show. There were several coats which were oversized but structured which made a look out of it, some were leather jackets. Tank tops were paired up with net dresses and knitted print pullovers. Colour palette had mostly black color and few colours like brown and pink. In accessories they had handbags only. All over the looks were quite minimal and basic yet classy and comfortable which is why it is in the top best looks.

VERSACE

Donatella Versace had long coats and jackets and the patterns were flannel and jacquard print. Once you see the corset dresses and second you will see the satin dresses. Also the corset tops and  sexy pantsuits with different patterns. The insane pairing up of puffer jackets with dresses was staggering. Colour palette had a calm tone of black, red, green and pink. Choker was the only neck piece they had in few looks and also the baguette bags.

MISSONI

Missoni kept the look unfussy and neat for the fall. The patterns that Missoni used were mostly zig-zag.  Knitted wrap coats came in generous, enveloping proportions in various fabrics. The basic oversized trench coats paired up with appropriate bottoms, strapless dresses, micro dresses and long dresses were designed.
